Daily skin care tips for Healthy Hairs

Severe hair fall has made me more conscious these days that I am learning so many tips about hair care and thought it is good to share it with all you guys. We wash, condition, comb and braid or tie it into a pony tail just because that is what we saw our elders doing and many of us are just following it daily. But it is essential for us to know much more about the hair care and the routine we follow.
I shall list it in points so that it is easy to go through
• Let us start with shampooing. It is necessary to choose the appropriate shampoo based on our scalp type and hair type. The common blunder is if we have oily scalp we choose shampoos high in pH which will make the hair dry eventually. So it is always advised to use mild shampoos on alternate days. This helps in cleaning the dirt that gets absorbed by oily scalp at the same time does not dry out the hair.
• Conditioning– Usually shampooing is followed by conditioning these days. Conditioning is not essential for everyone and also conditioning is not necessary every day. The necessity and frequency of use varies from person to person. It is important to check whether our hair needs conditioning and if yes, we should know how frequently it is necessary for us. For example people with extremely greasy scalp should be careful in choosing the conditioner as these conditioners can block the hair roots along with the dirt, when hair is not properly cleansed.
• Conditioners– There are 2 types of conditioners external and internal. External conditioners are the ones that gives shine and glow to the hair externally. Basically it helps in improving the external appearance of the hair. Internal conditioners are nothing but the deep conditioning masks and treatments provided in the parlour that enters the cortex and provides nourishment internally thus helping the hair’s condition from inside.
• Combing– Many of us do not know the reason why we comb our hair, even I never knew the reason until few months back. We comb our hair not only to detangle the hair but also to distribute the hair’s natural oil through out from mid length to the ends. This natural oil thus conditions the hair from root to the tips.
• Braiding or tying– The main reason is to keep the hair in place and avoid tangling. We usually don’t detangle our hair slowly and patiently and thus pulling hair causes damage to the scalp, results in weak roots and also hair loss. So be careful while detangling, always hold the top region near the scalp and detangle the rest of the hair so that it won’t pull the hair from the roots.

Skin care tips for Normal skin

Many benefits may result from applying face creams and lotions to the face and body. One such benefit can be the prevention and improvement of dryness on various parts of a person's body. This problem can arise in many people, and may usually leave that person feeling somewhat unhappy. However, thanks to the speed and effectiveness of these creams, a person can quickly feel himself or herself again when he or she begins to use the product.

Use a hydrating and anti aging moisturizer twice a day. The best time to apply your moisturizer is after washing your skin, while your pores are still open. Pat your skin dry and massage the moisturizer on your dermis gently in a circular motion.

Drink at least 8 glasses of alkaline water. Why alkaline water? This is actually composed of minerals with smaller molecular particles. Its natural composition enables the minerals to penetrate deeper into your cells. It provides better hydration.

There are other natural dry skin care tips such as using honey for a facial. A facial will get rid of the dry skin and allow new skin to grow in its place. You really need to moisturize the skin all over your body as it can become dry everywhere, not just the face and hands. You can also use honey on your legs and hands to get rid of dry skin. Much the same as the facial, let it stand for 10 minutes and then wash off. Natural dry skin care tips such as keeping the lips moist, can help prevent chapped lips. The lips have no oil glands so they can be susceptible to drying and cracking. There are all natural remedies you can use to keep the lips moist.

Moisturizing is very important for dry skin. You have to moisturize the face and body every day, sometimes numerous times a day - this is where it is imperative that you use products without harsh chemicals because you are going to be reapplying lotions and moisturizers so often that even a small amount of harsh and carcinogenic chemicals in each application will add up.

It's especially important for people with dry skin, damaged skin, or acne to eat foods high in omega-3's.Eat an avocado every day; put it in your salad or mash it up and eat it with a spoon. Eat high-fiber snacks like raw nuts, raw seeds, fresh fruit or dried fruit like dates, and figs.

Dry skin may need slightly more exfoliation than other skin types to remove flaky dry skin. Experiment with manual exfoliation using scrubs containing fine particles. If you find these tend to exacerbate the problem switch to a gentle natural exfoliant that uses fruit acids to remove flaky skin. Try to exfoliate once a week to keep skin looking fresh and smooth.

Use lukewarm water. Hot water robs your skin of moisture and will cause it to dry out further. Try to keep your showers short and only shower once a day. It is also a good idea to avoid hot tubs. Sorry. The hot water and chemicals are torture on your skin.

Skin care tips for Dry skin

As part of looking good and feeling great, women tend to take care of their bodies more than men. As women, we spend on make-ups and skin-care products. We also go to health-care center to improve our skin. Simply put, women go a long way in order to make sure that their skin is well taken care of. But what if our skin is dry? What can you do to prevent dry skin?
Dry skin is most common during the winter months. It can also be caused by genetics or aging. Whatever the cause of our dry skin is, we have to find solutions to keep our body looking good and ourselves feeling great. Here are the dry skin care tips you can follow:
Dry Skin Care Tip #1: Cleansing. The best advice you can follow when finding the right cleansing product is to find one that your skin responds well to (and stick to it), hence you do not need to spend $50 dollars on a fancy wash. Do not use bar soap as it can dry your skin further.
Dry Skin Care Tip #2: Back to Basics. Drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated. Sufficient amount of water has to be present in your skin cells to make it healthier and to avoid drying. Eight glasses a day should do but more would not do any harm, especially if you have worse case of dry skin.
Dry Skin Care Tip #3: Cut back on shower time. There is nothing wrong with taking a bath, but you have to limit it as much as possible. Many dermatologists suggest that people with dry skin should only take a bath for 3 minutes and should only do it only one per day. Avoid hot baths too. Use warm water instead. Soap should only be used on certain parts of the body such as your underarm and groin.
Dry Skin Care Tip #4: Drying. After taking a bath, make sure that you pat your body dry instead of rubbing yourself with a towel. This way, you will not rub off the natural oil from your body and cause your skin to dry off further.
Dry Skin Care Tip #5 Exfoliate. Flaking is a bad effect of dry skin, which can be removed through exfoliating. However, exfoliating too often can worsen dry skin too. Once a week is enough. During bath, gently scrub your body to remove flakes. If you have the worst case of flaking, do not try to remove all the flakes in one bathing as it can damage the inner layer of your skin. Let the skin rest for at least a day or two and remove them carefully.

Dry Skin Care Tip #5 – Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Dry skin requires thorough skin care, year round but more importantly during colder months. Use skin-care products containing moisturizers from body soap to cream to keep your skin hydrated. Use heavier creams during colder months. Apply these to your body as often as necessary.

Skin care tips of Royal Princess Kate

The biggest royal wedding of the new millennium; Prince William tying the knot with Kate Middleton! Going by the history and hysteria, this occasion promises to be the grandest affair in the royal family. Prince William is used to the royal crest, but what about Kate who has big shoes to fill in, as the princess of Buckingham Palace?
Here are six skin care tips for Kate to follow to look uber-perfect on the 29th April:
What products should the future Queen use? I tried connecting with her beauty advisers,  did research on her skin type; she has sensitive skin and created her profile out of curiosity and fun on mySkin.com- the worlds only unbiased, personalized recommendation site which  advises you products that work best for your skin. Who wouldn’t want to know what her celebrity skin needs? my Skin’s complex scientific JLM (Just Like Me) algorithm sifts through more than 150K skincare products to advise 29 year old Kate on what’s best for her:
As her skin cleanser, mySkin recommends that she uses Aveeno Stress relief body wash in her routine followed by a  Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-free Toner to tone and reduce the size of her skin pores. For effective hydration, the site advises her to use Philosophy divine illumination and suggests that she treats her skin with Dermalogic mediBac Clearing Mattifier. For sun protection mySkin recommends that Kate regularly lathers on Cataphyll UVA/ UVB defense SPF 50. The exfoliant that should keep her skin soft and supple is Peter Thomas Roth botanical buffing beads. As a mask she should use the Fresh Organics Inc. Umbrian clay face mask while she can pose a wonderful tan using the bare essentials ‘Faux Tan’ body moisturizer.
Be Sun Safe, Kate: Foremost for her skin is avoiding the sun as much as she can. It’s not just for staying away from the tan, but it’s also giving her quality time to spend with her self and her family before her big day.
Keep Stress at bay: Any soon-to-be-bride has hundreds of things on her mind right from her looks to her future. In Kate’s case, this figure goes up to millions. There ought to be a lot of things on my mind causing undue turmoil and stress. Isn’t it stressful to look good and live up to promises of the people too? We recommend that she keeps stress at bay. If she doesn’t, it’s got to show on her skin giving her breakouts, a pale look which even makeup may not cover-up.  She must concentrate on her diet and meditate to connect with her self; making her skin glow!
Is it the Wine: Being the royal princess of a family is no mean feat! It involves attending many social gatherings and parties- constantly being in the people and camera eyes.  Kate can’t just stop wining and dining at social gatherings. It’s rude and unbecoming of the future Queen. But, the alcohol and odd hours will create havoc with her skin. She must sip on non-alcoholic wines or virgin cocktails  to avoid looking parched on her special day.
Great Exercise and Sound Sleep: This combination is the best for her and for all brides- to- be! The exercise keeps all the good hormones gushing giving you a natural glow. It tones the body muscles and gives your torso a positive look. With exercise, sleep is important. A good 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night relaxes the body, relieves stress, gives the skin enough time to rejuvenate and replenish.
Did I say Diet: For Kate, her diet is important to shape up! For her to put on some weight before the wedding, she should be adding carbohydrates to her plate and eat 5 to 6 small portion meals every day; not forgetting a sumptuous breakfast. Whole grain products, pro-biotic, good proteins are a must in her diet plan.
Cheers to the Prince and soon-to-be Princess! I raise a toast to them having a blissful, skin-perfect and glamorous wedding :)
